This remote switch features a two-stage release button. Pressing the shutter button halfway focuses, while fully pressing the button activates the shutter.

For long exposures, press the release button fully and slide it to the lock position. The shutter will remain open as long as the shutter release button is locked. To unlock the shutter, simply slide the release button back to its original position.

The unit does not require batteries as it draws power from the camera. It is a great way to avoid camera shake and an ideal choice for taking long exposure photos.
