The story of the little heart is not a fictional tale, it is true, and it is very important for children to understand this. Human life has value, but sometimes, in order to be saved, it needs support, solidarity, and giving. One such act is the act of blood donation, without which the little heart in the story would not be able to become red again.

Just as many real hearts would not be able to remain and beat among us if it weren't for those people who regularly, approximately every four months, dedicate a little of their precious time, the volunteer blood donors.

Blood cannot be bought; blood is given. And it is important for all of us to understand that with such a small act, we can achieve something so great for someone else's life.
