Very good waterproofing compared to its price. It got me through a hike of many hours with frequent weather changes and quite a bit of rain. The only spots that took in a little water were the areas around the pocket zippers, but not inside the pockets. The inside was completely dry, no moisture got through at all. The only thing I might have wanted is for it to have zippers under the arms to better release body heat. Otherwise, an excellent jacket for its category.
Attention, it has no lining, so it is not suitable for low temperatures; it is for hikes during the spring and summer months, suitable for protection from the rain.
