The Lindy HDMI extender transmits an HDMI signal over Cat.6 network cable for distances of up to 100 m and supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz and HDR. ARC support allows audio to be returned from the display to an amplifier or soundbar, while local audio extraction allows audio outputs to be connected for multichannel sound.

The USB 2.0 ports on the receiver connect a mouse, keyboard or other devices to control the source, such as a computer or laptop. The bi-directional IR and RS-232 ports support equipment control and integration with control systems, while the Ethernet ports connect to network switches and hubs with LAN access. PoC transmits power and data over the Cat.6 cable in a point-to-point connection, with power supplied only by the transmitter unit. Power is connected via a DC connector with a screw-locking mechanism.
