The Saramonic SR-SMC3 is a universal shockmount for shotgun and pencil microphones with a diameter of 19 to 25mm. It provides effective protection against shocks, vibrations, and handling noise when mounted on a camera or boompole for film and video applications.
The SR-SMC3 uses a 4-point elastic suspension system to isolate your microphone from unwanted mechanical vibrations that can alter your sound. A quick-lock rotation and level control provide 360° rotation and 150° tilt, allowing you to easily adjust the microphone for optimal sound capture.
You can mount the SR-SMC3 almost anywhere without the need for additional adapters. Mounting options include a camera mount for DSLR and mirrorless cameras and camcorders. Screw mounting options of 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and 5/8"-27 are also available for boompoles, tripods, stands, supports, and cages.
The mounting equipment is made of durable yet lightweight metal to ensure years of high-quality performance. Four replacement shockmount bands are included.
