The JJC ES-898 Easy Switch Controller allows you to activate your camera via your smartphone. Simply use a JJC Shutter Release Cable (sold separately) to connect this controller to your camera. Then, connect the Easy Switch controller to your smartphone via Bluetooth. You are ready to take perfect photos in three modes: Manual Shot, Timer Shot, and Scheduled Timer Remote. The DELAY time, BULB time, and INTERVAL time can be set from 1 to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds, and 900 milliseconds. The number of exposures can be set from 1 to 999 shots or infinite. The unique scheduled timer function allows you to set six different timer exposure plans to meet your needs. With this controller, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android devices will function as a wireless timer for controlling your digital cameras. This controller also works as a wireless switch. It allows you to half-press the shutter button on the controller for focus and fully press it to take a photo.
Note: The JJC ES-898 adopts a standard mount, so some cameras do not have a mount or have a non-standard mount, therefore the JJC ES-898 cannot be mounted on your camera body. You will need to leave it next to the camera for use. This does not affect the Bluetooth signal between your iPhone and the JJC ES-898, and does not change or reduce the functions of the JJC ES-898.
The ES-898 does not provide a shutter release cable, so you will need to purchase a JJC cable that fits your camera. If you have two or more cameras, you will need to purchase different cables to use them with your ES-898, thus saving costs after purchasing the ES-898.
