The JJC ES-898 remote connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and enables wireless control of a compatible digital camera when connected to it using a separate JJC shutter release cable. It supports manual shooting, timer shooting and scheduled shooting, and also works as a wired remote, with a half-press to focus and a full press to take a photo.

Delay, BULB exposure and interval times can be set from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds and 900 ms. The number of exposures can be set from 1 to 999 or to unlimited. Scheduled shooting allows you to set up to six different plans. The remote has a standard hot shoe mount, but can also be used next to the camera if it does not have a compatible hot shoe. The shutter release cable is not included.
