Players are railroad pioneers in this easy family game, building railroads throughout France and Germany. Each player aims to maximize their profits from these early railroads, trying to invest more in the most profitable railroads. Very simple rules are used, but the ability to bluff and deceive offers a challenging gaming experience. No game is the same, and each game lasts about 30 minutes.

This award-winning game, previously published as Paris Connection with only a map of France, now also includes a map of Germany. The rules are largely the same when playing in Germany, with two small changes to fit the history and character of Germany.
