It is an induction type, meaning only the bottom of the cookware is heated, resulting in the surrounding area remaining cool to the touch. It uses less energy compared to other types of burners and cooking time is reduced by half, with water boiling in less than 90 seconds.
Cleaning is very easy, as the area around the cookware remains cool. A necessary condition for this type of burner is that the cookware must be compatible with induction burners, meaning made of stainless steel or cast iron.
