Father Iosif of Vatopedi is not just a book, but it is spirit and it is life (cf. John 6:63). It is the journey of a man who, at the age of 15, saw Christ alive, followed Him on the path of suffering, was defamed, persecuted, died, and smiled after death, confirming the Resurrection.

And his disciple saw and testified (cf. I John 4:14), recording his life in writing, as much as it is possible for words to encompass it. Thus, this book was composed, which, in addition to the eight chapters, includes a rich collection of photographs from the archive of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, supplemented in the Romanian edition with Addenda and an Epilogue.
