  • I bought the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds a few months ago and encountered serious problems very early on.

Specifically, the right earbud stopped charging and is not recognized at all, while the microphone does not work properly either on a computer or on a mobile phone.

All the basic actions were taken (reset, cleaning, reinstallation), without any improvement, which clearly indicates a defect in the device.

I contacted SteelSeries, who referred me to the store of purchase for the warranty, as it is not an authorized reseller.

I am awaiting resolution through the store, but the overall experience so far is disappointing.

  • I bought them from the company's official site as soon as they were released. The truth is that within a year I faced a problem and the right earbud was not responding. It takes a bit of hassle with tickets and a whole process to get a new one, but in the end, all was well — now I'm in the second year with a new pair without paying.

They are indeed very good, but they have a 'trap.' The noise control, which should normally isolate external sounds, does not work perfectly, so... hmm.

The battery is indeed very good — I charge them about once a week (case and earbuds), while I use them daily for more than 1–2 hours on average.

The 2.4 helps a lot if you don't have a PC with Bluetooth and want a quick connection. They get a very good signal inside the house — several times I've forgotten and gone to the bathroom with them, with the microphone on.
