Mercola 5891 impregnating varnish is a two-component, solvent-based polyurethane product for wood, metal and stone surfaces. It creates a transparent protective film and is intended for indoor and outdoor use. Its aliphatic formulation contains UV filters and provides resistance to abrasion, impacts, chemicals, moisture and frost.
It can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun. Clean tools with DIL X-100 thinner or nitro thinner before the product dries. At 23°C, it is touch-dry in 4–6 hours, can be recoated after 12–24 hours and fully cures in 7–14 days.
