Teflon Sheets for Heat Pressing

Quality Teflon sheets are made from superior quality material and are ideally sized for most heat presses, including the special PixMax heat presses 38x38cm and 40x50cm. They are perfect for keeping the heat press clean and in good condition, while the sheets are easy to clean and can be used multiple times.

The use of Teflon sheets ensures that heat is distributed evenly during the heat transfer process and protects the heat press platen by creating a barrier between the platen and the sublimation paper or vinyl. These sheets prevent residual glue and ink buildup on the platen, allowing you to focus on producing artistic designs instead of stopping for cleaning.

Mistakes often happen, especially during busy periods, by placing the vinyl or sublimation paper under the press with the wrong side up. The design will imprint directly on the bottom side of the platen, which will need cleaning before printing can continue. Cleaning the platen is extremely difficult and time-consuming, but by using a Teflon sheet, you can be assured that if this happens, you can simply remove or replace the Teflon sheet and continue pressing without time loss or damaged garments.

Quality Teflon sheets also hold the garment in place, eliminating the need for heat tape and preventing the "ghosting" effect created by the transfer paper when the platen is lifted. You can also use an extra Teflon sheet under the garments to prevent sublimation inks from penetrating the lower rubber padding of the platen.

The use of Teflon sheets is recommended during sublimation and vinyl heat pressing, as they will help you produce better and more consistent designs faster - with less hassle and less waste.
