Their action is due to the well-known disinfectant action of chlorine combined with silver ions, which neutralize pathogenic microorganisms, bacteria, and giardia, while protecting the water from contamination for up to 6 months.
This action is effective only in clear water, meaning water that has been filtered first, to have as few suspended particles as possible. The time required to disinfect one liter of water is 30 minutes. The tablets contain 100 tablets, each capable of disinfecting 1 liter of water.
