Aneroid barograph for recording atmospheric pressure with a dampened measuring mechanism for use at sea.
- Measurement range: 955 to 1055 hPa
- Accuracy: ± 0.7 hPa
- Chart graduation: 1 hPa
The measuring element in the barograph consists of a set of 7 aneroid capsules with a diameter of 62 mm, made from a copper-beryllium alloy. Thanks to its excellent elasticity, it has been tested and proven to be the best for many years without aging, hysteresis, or elastic deformation.
The effect of temperature on the set of aneroid capsules and the transmission system is compensated by a bimetallic strip across the entire measurement range and for temperatures between -30 and +40°C.
All shafts of the precision instrument are supported on jewels, ensuring minimal friction. Parts of the measuring mechanism are made from polished brass.
Wooden case in mahogany color: 345 x 170 x 180 mm.
The barograph is equipped with a quartz clock mechanism that can be directly set for daily, weekly, or monthly recording. The periods are 25.6 hours / 176 hours / 783 hours.
The barograph is delivered complete with a pen as well as a set of 60 charts for weekly recording, sufficient for one year.
