It operates within a maximum magnification range of 2:1 to 5:1, with a minimum focusing distance of just 11.2 cm at 2:1 magnification and 18.5 cm at 5:1, providing a comfortable working distance of 3.8-4.6 cm.

The wide-angle focal length allows the lens to achieve greater depth of field compared to long focal length macro lenses. The optical design incorporates elements of ultra-low dispersion and high refraction to enhance color fidelity and image clarity.

The lens is designed for full-frame cameras and can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 37.5 mm.
