Stanley Fatmax Blade Armor tape measures are available in 8 m and 5 m lengths and are designed for indoor and outdoor measurements. The Mylar® polyester-coated blade is up to 10 times more durable than traditional tape measures, while the first 14 cm are coated with Blade Armor, reducing the risk of breakage by 95%.

The dual-material case combines ABS with a soft elastomer grip. The blade extends horizontally up to 3.35 m without bending. The hook is secured with 3 rivets and is 40% stronger than a 2-rivet fitting, while the shock-absorbing cushion protects the multi-purpose hook at both the top and bottom of the blade.
