The Monofast surgical suture is a sterile synthetic monofilament absorbable suture made from a copolymer of glycolide and ε-caprolactone.

It is available in colorless or dyed violet color in a wide variety of diameters and lengths, tailored to high-quality medical-grade stainless steel needles.

The construction of the Monofast suture meets the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia and the requirements of directive 93/42/EEC.
