New HD thermal sensor 1024×768 @ 12 μm. The Merger LRF XL50 offers the next level of thermal imaging experience. The image produced by the new thermal sensor 1024×768 pixels has high clarity and rich detail. It is ideal for uncompromising recognition of any object. The silhouettes, anatomy & behavioral characteristics of the animal are clearly visible and distinguishable.

High image detail across the entire magnification range of 2.5-20x. The variable magnification of 2.5-20x provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD sensor allows for maintaining a high level of image detail throughout the entire range of magnification. The zoom changes either incrementally in 2x steps or continuously for a customized FOV/magnification ratio for each specific situation.

Wide observation field. The Merger LRF XL50 offers a wide field of view for easy scanning and locating. Explore landscapes in HD quality with a wide FOV of 14 degrees and optimal magnification of 2.5x. The large format sensor allows for best-in-class FOV/magnification ratio even at high zoom levels, up to 20x.

Exceptionally long detection range. The powerful objective lens combined with the professional-grade HD thermal imaging sensor 12 μm / 1024×768 pix provides exceptional detection capabilities. A typical object height of 1.8 m can be detected at a distance of 2300 m in complete darkness.

Classic binocular design. The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are constructed with the classic design of daytime binoculars. With a small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, yet still offer an attractive exterior aesthetic and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are positioned in a comfortable access zone, and the most frequently used functions of the digital device are activated with a single touch.

Comfortable viewing experience with both eyes. The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars fully considers the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two optical channels simultaneously. Viewing with both eyes is less tiring than viewing with one. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios compared to similar monocular thermal imaging devices with the same technical level. The eye relief distance on the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm according to the individual characteristics of each user.

Accurate laser rangefinder with a measurement distance of 1000 m. Understanding the target distance is a key factor in making the right decisions. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Dual battery system. The Merger LRF XL50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one is built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, while the other is replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A simple charge guarantees a long battery life. The relief on the body of the replaceable battery for precise positioning allows for quick and secure replacement of a dead battery with a new one in complete darkness by touch.

3 levels of sensitivity enhancement. Choosing the signal boost level coupled with new filtering algorithms with fine adjustments for brightness and contrast offers the hunter great opportunities for observation at long distances under different weather and temperature conditions.
