  • I am an electronics technician but I also do installations of various electronic-electrical applications. I was looking for a bag to keep the basic tools, of course I also have other bags and boxes for the bulkier tools. At first, I was thinking of getting a Veto or the Velocity. They are very good bags with quality over time, etc., but I wanted a backpack and also something with a different look for my own use. I also like the packout system for attaching a case at the bottom. It fits a laptop in the back compartment or you can place measuring instruments there. The only thing I did after working with it was to buy two additional cases and attach them to the back compartment with removable Velcro, so I put some electronic screwdrivers, etc., that I don't want to be with the other tools in the front part. While other companies have some pockets in the back compartment, they don't have anything else, or for example with Veto, you would have to order and buy any extras and the cost would go up a lot from the already expensive cost of just the bag. I also like the side pockets and I put tool collections there, and at the front there is an external compartment with tightening straps that fits exactly a measuring instrument I have, which is very convenient for me when climbing roofs with ladders, so I don't have to hold anything in my hands except the bag on my back. Also, in the front compartment inside, there is a hard case where I placed a case with my electric screwdriver. In general, it has worked well for me. On the back of the bag, it has ergonomic padding so there is no discomfort from the weight, with soft flex. Very good quality for its price. If someone wants something else or it depends on their specialty, Veto is top with a 5-year warranty, but keep in mind they are heavier plus the tools! For me, the Milwaukee Packout matched my needs and that's why I chose it, and it is excellent with quality materials, an amazing handle, and good stitching with thick thread. Time will tell how long it will last, although I saw many videos from America and it seems indestructible. I recommend it.

I got it for amateur use, but yes, I would only recommend it to professionals (or tool collectors)… why? I would say it is quite expensive! However, it has many slots for tools and is extremely well organized, so my obsession with having a specific place for each tool is satisfied! I am also impressed with its build quality! If you need to get something fabric (for organization or ease of transport), it's top! But it's also quite heavy, but I don't complain, I wanted quality and I got it! For a fabric shoulder bag, I would say it's either this one or knipex or vito…
This one has a super heavy-duty character
The knipex is more technological delicatessen
The vito, however, combines them (while also adding up the price)
