I have owned it for 8 months and I would not recommend it, there are better options at these prices!

Disadvantages:
The screen scratches VERY easily, it has become terrible
It lags even without pushing it too hard, with the slightest thing
It doesn't get good signal! In the same spot with another similar device that gets 5G, the realme had none at all...
Sound is not that good either

Advantages:
A pretty good camera, I could say
Vivid colors and good resolution... that's about it.

So it's not worth it at all for the €350 I paid

Owner of this particular phone for about three months now...
It has no rival around five hundred euros!
The photos are masterpieces during the day.
Up to 6x they are flawless.
And at night, photos turn into day with the Triple Glow Flash.
Up to 2x they are very good.
And with AI processing, any unwanted objects or people or imperfections are removed...

It replaced my previous 11pro+ which I broke, there isn't a huge difference from that one, of course I like it just like the previous one, if I hadn't destroyed that one I would still have it! Battery is at the same level, camera more or less the same, though this one is a bit faster!

Former owner of the Realme 8pro and 12, I have to say that although I approached this company's phones with hesitation, they have won me over 100%. Very good photos, satisfactory video, runs everything perfectly, hasn't lagged at all. At €378 for the 12/512 version that I got, it was more than worth it and it stands up to phones costing €600-800, e.g. Samsung s25 and iPhone 15 (the regular ones, let's not exaggerate), Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, OnePlus, Motorola at the same price don't even compare, it's much superior overall. Some may have a better camera, others may have a longer-lasting battery, but overall it is the best in its category.

It is a good overall phone, but since it is usually bought for its good cameras, I will say do not expect miracles.

During the day, the photos come out very good (with a lot of AI though), but in low light, especially indoors, the results are disappointing. Noise and if you go close, the images look like oil paintings. I did not expect this, I was used to much more detail and brightness from my previous phones. Also, the selfie camera is nothing special, again an issue with low light, and it also opens with this bright screen with the circle by default, which I don't think you can permanently disable, you have to do it manually every time, which is difficult since the phone is large.

The other bad thing is that it does not have a charger and I am not sure which one I should buy to have fast charging.

Other than that, the phone is user-friendly, with various conveniences and customisations.

Very good screen, loud speaker, excellent fingerprint sensor.

Fast, the battery lasts like the first day, it never lags, the photos I take are like from a camera. It has nice settings for manual photos too, when I don't want the camera to run on auto and I want to shoot in my own way. I came from a realme 7 pro, which lasted me 6 years and I think this one will last just as long, maybe even longer. The company makes good and durable phones. I've dropped it four times recently, two of which were hard drops, and it didn't even notice. The only negative, which has nothing to do with the phone itself, is that mobile accessory stores don't have screen protectors and cases for this phone. You need to search for them.

I bought it to replace my previous realme. The battery lasts quite well. As they say, it easily makes it through the day, which was my goal. For example, 85% yesterday at noon, 30% the next morning, and it was used for calls, social media, quite a bit until the evening and also the next morning. So, charging it at night and having the battery last all day and until the next morning if I forget to charge it the next night, the phone is fine as stated in its description. If you are interested in a phone around €300-350 with a good camera, I think it is the best choice. I am very satisfied. It takes very powerful photos, especially during the day. But even at night, they are quite decent.
The battery is very good. Just be careful. I got it without initially getting the supervooc 80w adapter (since these are no longer provided with phones). I was using my previous one (which I had with the Xiaomi Redmi note 12pro plus) and it took 3 hours to charge. So the supervooc is definitely required. And it charges in about 1 hour from 0-100.
It lasts a full day. Not more though, if you use it a lot.
The only negative I would mention is the speaker. The sound is not that high quality. It has good volume, but at some points it bothers me a bit. But it's nothing serious. The screen is amazing. Very nice colors. I got the 512 gb version because I take endless photos.

Coming from the realme gt2, I see a very familiar operating system that sometimes makes me feel like I haven't changed phones. However, the reason I switched was the camera and the battery, and I was not disappointed at all with my choice.
The phone has an excellent camera, with very nice lighting, features, and AI processing (you can make objects, people disappear..).
It also has a very good battery, it lasts more than a day, which is important for me. I know I can leave the house with 30% battery and not be left without a phone.
The user-friendly features that realme offers, such as some bars and gestures, are very convenient.
AI has also been added to search and some functions like message recording, notification display, brightness, which are okay.
Also, the white color really does change. I tried it by putting it in the fridge. Nice effect but I don't think I'll see it change again because I use a case.
The only thing I didn't like is the lack of a charger, but all phones nowadays don't have a charger in the package.

Update after 3 months of use.
The camera at night is inadequate

Excellent phone!!!

I have been using it for a month now, coming from an iPhone 12 mini, because I love small phones but they no longer exist. I have the 12/512 version. If you have more than 2GB of free ROM, you can lend those 2GB to the RAM so it goes up to 14 and you can increase performance in games. Personally, I am indifferent to this feature.

The word freeze/lag is unknown. Call quality is excellent. It bothers me that it's a "slipper" like all phones today, but that's subjective.

The battery lasts more than a day with moderate use, with full use one day. As you understand, it's not something wow even though it's 6Ah.

And now let's get to the big asset of this phone. The camera!!! Fantastic portraits. The 3x lossless zoom is excellent, up to 10x the camera is excellent. Since I only have my baby for portraits and he's only 2 years old, I won't upload a photo, but in high and medium lighting conditions it competes with mirrorless cameras.

In the distant photo where I took the stroller, the person was 5 meters away, and the sticker was narrower than the big finger of the hand. I was amazed when I saw that the letters came out crystal clear! You open the photo on the screen and you can read everything! With the naked eye, I thought the letters had faded over time, and I don't have myopia or presbyopia. This is with 10x zoom.

The moon is with 60x zoom while the phone goes up to 120x. As with all phones, here too AI helps with the clarity and focus of the photo. The 120x is also excellent, but unfortunately the platform did not allow me to upload more material.

The macro photo with the flower is with 1x zoom. When you use the 3x it's even clearer, but I haven't managed to take a good photo because all summer it's windy everywhere and a lot where I live!

Night mode I would rate 8/10 as the phone does some overprocessing to avoid creating visual noise in the result, which personally I don't like.

The "star mode" speaks for itself. You absolutely have to use a tripod because it takes 5 minutes to take the photo, but the result is more than excellent. No noise, no overprocessing, only a little "shake" as in 5 minutes obviously the stars have moved.

I am extremely satisfied with the phone which I got for 320 euros BEFORE VAT with an invoice. Personally, I doubt I could find anything better in a camera phone for this money. I highly recommend it.

previous phone was redmi note 10pro and I have to say it has a more realistic camera, takes better photos in good light..
Secondly, when I turn the phone horizontally it loses 1/3 of the screen for some reason...
Thirdly, with the little finger you accidentally press the button that opens the open windows at the slightest touch and it happens constantly until it gets on your nerves...
Fourth, for the battery capacity it has, it's very average..and finally, stay away, first and last time with realme...
And the best for last, I've had it for 3 months and it has frozen several times...

I've had it for 3 weeks. Very good phone for €400.00 12/512GB or €350.00 8/256GB. I wouldn't pay more than €400.00 for it. Let's go a bit more in detail:

Build quality: For the black version with the suede that I have, I like the texture on the back, but I'll keep it in a case because I don't trust that it won't get scratched or worn, etc. What bothers me quite a bit is the frame, which is plastic. But it's not a big deal since, as I said, it will be in a case.

Screen: Very good, bright, I generally prefer curved ones, this one is flat but it has a slight curve all around, the corners are not squared which I really like.

Processor: Easily and quickly handles the daily tasks of the average user. I don't play games, so I don't know how it performs there.

Battery: Very good, even if I leave the house with 40% and know I'll be out for several hours, I don't worry at all.

Cameras: The reason I chose this phone. Its main camera is very good day and night. It easily competes with much more expensive phones. The video from it 4K 30fps is good, but nothing impressive. I don't know why it doesn't support 4K 60fps... The 3x camera is also very good. Obviously, it loses a bit at night compared to the main one, but it still performs very well. What I really like is the processing the phone does to each photo, making them much more vivid, much more Instagram-like, and while I used to do a bit of editing on my old phone, with this one I've noticed it saves me that 'trouble.' Some have described them as intense, but that's a matter of taste. Ultra wide, the 3rd camera, nothing special. The flashes are very catchy, they do a pretty good job. The selfie is quite decent when taken from the camera, but when I open it from Instagram for example, many times it feels too dark. Its video is also decent, don't expect iPhone-level video in general, but in photos it doesn't fall short, especially considering the cost.

Other: As software, it's easy, simple, nice, coming from Xiaomi I wouldn't say I'm missing anything. NFC always works, instantly and very easily. The fingerprint sensor is fast and very effective. The speakers are nothing special, they could definitely be better, the microphones I consider to be quite good.

I got it as a replacement for the Realme GT Neo 2. Definitely heavier in the hand and you notice this difference especially when you sit with the phone in one hand for a long time. Its screen is at the same level as the previous one in terms of clarity and how well you can see under the sun. Its speakers produce a loud sound but maybe it's just my impression that there is some distortion, nevertheless I mention it. The rear cameras are quite high quality in good lighting conditions and in video the stabilization and image tracking are definitely an addition that makes a difference, especially if you don't have steady hands. It has AI processing features. In the object removal function, it works quite well in most cases and fun fact, I took a photo and did slimming, blemish removal and more to the point that people looked at the photo and barely realized it was them and not some random others. In the clarity mode, however, depending on the photo, you can see a completely different result. Like its predecessor, it doesn't lag and is very responsive in general use, but it does feel a bit stiff in games. I have the impression that I had better response with the previous one. Finally, the battery lasts the whole day and I constantly use data or wifi, Bluetooth is always on and working with the watch, plenty of calls and at least two hours of gaming.

I'm back to add that if anyone wants extra battery life, which easily lasts 2 days... you can do it from the battery settings by switching from balanced mode to power saving mode... and I believe you get 1 to 1.5 hours of screen-on time... and you don't notice any drop in performance with this mode
