Whenever I take this vitamin (during the 6 winter months), I don't get sick or I get through it very lightly, and I've been using it for years now.

I don't have any noticeable difference to be honest, but this dose and the 1000mg are recommended by many, although with higher doses, vitamin C is not harmful. And don't forget, if you eat enough lemons and oranges like I do, you also get a fair amount nutritionally. For the immune system though, you should know that you need to regulate D3 first and then C. I'm telling you this as someone with a chronic immune problem and two incorrect blood tests where my immune system was so low that they told me I might be positive for AIDS, but when I did the specific tests, I had nothing. In the end, it was a chronic deficiency of D3 and B12 that had left me vulnerable until we figured it out with a specialist pathologist. So, regulate other obvious problems with more important vitamins and add C as an extra on top, 500-1000mg, and you'll be covered -> guarantee, and this particular one is also a VFM (value for money) choice.

It's worth it!! I stopped taking the pill for a day or two and immediately noticed a difference (fatigue, tiredness, etc.). It is very helpful and definitely worth the money you spend. I recommend it.

In men, the necessary vitamin C is 90 mg per day. In patients with chronic sports injuries and sprains, this amount increases. So I believe that the quantity of 500 mg is ideal... no need for more. Excess vitamin C is eliminated from the body, so the fact that it is time release means that it is broken down into smaller amounts and absorbed by the body little by little over the next 7-8 hours, making this vitamin perfect for everyone. After the first few days of consumption, a difference in fatigue, endurance, and energy is observed.
