The brush-applied Mercola 5310 waterproofing coating forms an elastic, vapor-permeable membrane for waterproofing rooftops and roof tiles. Its polyurethane and acrylic resin formula contains nanofibers, bridges small cracks, and resists moisture, high temperatures, weather conditions, and UV rays. The membrane accommodates the substrate’s expansion and contraction, withstands standing water, and has an elongation of at least 400%.
This water-based, single-component material can be applied with a brush, roller, or airless spray gun. Two coats are required on new surfaces, and the product can be thinned with clean water. Clean tools with soap and water immediately after use.
