Mercola Isocryl is a one-component, elastomeric acrylic waterproofing coating in liquid form. Its fibre-reinforced formula forms a continuous, elastic membrane with no joints or seams that is waterproof yet permeable to water vapour. It offers at least 400% elasticity, accommodates the substrate’s expansion and contraction, and bridges small cracks.
Suitable for roof tiles and cementitious, bituminous, metal and PVC surfaces, as well as brick and plaster. It resists moisture, water, weathering and ultraviolet rays, while maintaining its mechanical properties at temperatures from -15 °C to +70 °C. Its solar reflectance helps improve thermal insulation performance, and the finished surface remains walkable.
