The Aqara Light Switch H2 EU is a versatile wall switch based on wireless communication protocols, supporting both Thread and Zigbee. It provides an excellent solution for controlling home lighting and simplifies the creation of energy-efficient smart home systems. It seamlessly integrates into the Aqara ecosystem but can also work with other platforms that support communication via Zigbee or Thread protocols.

The Aqara Light Switch H2 EU is a universal device that supports flexible wiring options. It is recommended to connect the switch with live and neutral wires, but it also supports single-phase wiring without a neutral wire, making it suitable for replacing traditional switches. Single-phase wiring (without neutral wire) is only recommended for lighting control. Compatible with incandescent lamps, LEDs, and compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). For some light sources, a bypass unit may be required to ensure proper operation, which is installed in parallel with the load.

Switch Installation:

  • Terminal screw connections for phase and neutral wires or single-phase supply.
  • Suitable for controlling one circuit.
  • Mounting screws included in the package.

Quick Setup:

  • Thread mode: Requires a Matter-compatible Thread Border Router for pairing.
  • Zigbee mode: Can be paired using an Aqara Zigbee Hub. Adding the device to the Aqara Home app is simple and quick after selecting the appropriate protocol.
