The long journey of women from prehistoric to ancient and modern times, monthly fertility and continuous sexuality, access to resources for survival and reproduction, sexual function, homosexuality, love and affection, jealousy, monogamy, infidelity, and learned behaviors, competition as well as the strategies they employ for access to sexual acts and partner selection, the influence of hormones during women’s monthly cycles, and all these factors as a whole have significantly contributed to the evolution of the brain and can explain a large part of female behavior.
