Description

Description

Immerse yourself in the dark and enigmatic world of Hell is Us for PS5, a third-person action game that challenges your senses. In a country ravaged by civil war and an otherworldly catastrophe, you are called to survive against supernatural creatures that cannot be defeated with conventional weapons. With a revolutionary exploration system based on instinct rather than aids, the game offers an authentic discovery experience. Use your drone and ancient weapons to unravel the mystery of your existence.

A Hostile World in Decay

Hell is Us transports you to an isolated region where humanity shows its worst face. In addition to the horrors of civil war, a mysterious disaster has spawned otherworldly chimeras that ravage everything in their path. The atmosphere is heavy and full of tension as you try to understand whether the real demon is these monsters or humans themselves. This is a hardcore survival experience that requires courage and strategic thinking.

Innovative Exploration System without Aids

Forget traditional maps, compasses, and annoying markers on your 55" screen. Hell is Us introduces a unique exploration philosophy, where your direction is determined solely by your own instincts and observation skills. The level design allows you to draw your own conclusions, making every discovery feel like a personal achievement. It's a return to the roots of adventure, where the journey is just as important as the destination.

Melee Combat and Drone Strategy

Face the threats of the world using an arsenal from another era. Swords, spears, and heavy axes are the only tools that can harm the supernatural entities you will encounter. Combat is intense and requires precision in your movements. At the same time, your drone is your most loyal ally, providing support and revealing enemy weaknesses that no modern firearm could penetrate.

Semi-Open World Full of Secrets

The game world is divided into large, semi-open areas teeming with hidden secrets and environmental storytelling. Every ruin and every forest hides clues about the protagonist's past and the causes of the catastrophe. The lack of guidance urges you to explore every inch of the land, turning simple movement into a continuous process of decoding the mystery. The decisions you make during your journey shape your own unique story.

Original Creatures and Enemy Design

The enemies in Hell is Us are unlike anything you have seen in other action games. These supernatural creatures have eerie movements and terrifying appearances, requiring the player to learn their attack patterns in order to survive. The use of the drone is crucial, as it can distract them or create openings in their defenses. Every encounter is a test of skills, where even the slightest carelessness can prove fatal.

Very strong game but it has many missables if you make the wrong decisions and it doesn't have a map so you might get confused about where you need to go.

The game is awesome! Great atmosphere, amazing music, it has a map and an Objective marker, it tells you the essentials but as long as you read and pay attention you won't get stuck anywhere. Don't be afraid, it's not Souls, you can adjust the difficulty whenever you want without losing trophies, there are no souls. It has a rich world and story and amazing exploration. Top game for me, it puts to shame AAA titles like Ubisoft and God of War where the protagonist talks to himself about the puzzles.

A very nice game that stands out from the usual. It doesn't have a map or instructions, so you need to pay attention to even the smallest detail — both in exploration and in dialogues. You will definitely need something to take notes with, otherwise it's hard to remember where you found everything.

Personally, I enjoyed it a lot, although from the middle onwards I started to get tired with all the items I had collected and the many dialogues — I didn't know in what order to do things. I got the platinum, but with a little help, because some puzzles are really very, very difficult.

Overall, it is a pleasant game, with nice graphics, beautiful music, and an excellent price for what it offers.

the game is amazing. it doesn't have a map but it lets you explore and you find your way. the combat is manageable even though there is no difficulty option, it's not soulslike. I wish there were more games like this

Unexpectedly good with an emphasis on exploration, interesting story, graphics and performance at an excellent level. Only the combat is a bit pointless but it doesn't ruin the experience

It truly awakens memories from hardcore gaming eras where there are no waypoints, no live map, not even a quest list or instructions on what to do next. It forces you to pay attention while playing and not to be absent-minded. The combat system is mediocre, but here the story, the environment, and the way you move and interact with the world win you over. Truly an excellent idea and very good execution. Immerse yourself in its world.
