The Nedis WIFIDS21WT standalone smoke detector uses optical detection to identify smoke and emits an 85 dB alarm. It connects via Wi-Fi to the Nedis SmartLife app, which sends notifications to your smartphone and lets you connect it to other SmartLife products and use it in automations. The app is available for Android and iOS, and no bridge or gateway is required.

The sensor operates on a built-in CR123A battery, which lasts up to 2 years, and features a low-battery indicator. It has an LED indicator, a test and pause button, and a self-test function. It is wall-mounted and complies with the EN 14604 standard.
