To GD-010, it was released in August '24 in three different color variations: Black, military green, and orange. A watch that you wear, it doesn't wear you. Daily and simple, you live with it. For me, it is the 35th watch in my G-Shock collection, and the truth is that I waited for years for a completely new G-Shock that is fully faithful to their original philosophy from 1983: Affordable, and above all, durable.
Having had it for about a month, and alternating/comparing it with the others in the collection, I can say that: Finally, a new G-Shock that has everything you need daily and nothing unnecessary. No bluetooth, no charging needs, with great time measurement accuracy, 5 alarms, stopwatch, countdown timer, and clear white LED lighting. With scratch-resistant crystal, easily pressable buttons (even with gloves), water resistance up to 200 m, and a bio-resin case/strap that can be easily replaced if it ever wears out, there aren't many watches that can compete with it (and even fewer mechanical watches).
The watch is not small, but neither is it huge (it may be large on wrists with a circumference of less than 16.5-17.0 cm). It wears comfortably, as its weight is negligible (Carbon case) and is ideal for daily use, from sports/gym to manual labor and security bodies. Its strong point is its clear display, at all hours of the day and in all lighting conditions (I am referring to the positive display, not its negative version). With a reasonable price (around 100-110 euros) for such a durable and reliable watch, especially given the estimated 10-year lifespan for the battery, it is one of the best choices if your lifestyle requires a watch with its features.
