The Fanar 11 mm carbide drill bit is suitable for CNC machine tools and mass production. Made from solid carbide (VHM), it features an Oerlikon Balzers Futura Nano (TiAlN) coating that protects against abrasive wear and offers high chemical and thermal stability. The 140° point angle and Type C edge correction (split point) help ensure the accuracy and repeatability of hole dimensions.

It is used for machining steel, cast iron, wear-resistant steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, titanium, zinc and plastics. For less demanding materials, it allows dry machining or machining with minimal coolant, while supporting higher cutting parameters than high-speed steel tools.
