The Honeywell MS 5145 Eclipse is a handheld, single-line laser scanner with CodeGate technology, which lets you aim at the desired barcode and transmit the data at the push of a button. CodeSense technology automatically switches from pulse mode to targeting mode when it detects a barcode. It is used for menu scanning, point-of-sale applications, document processing, and inventory control.

It features Flash ROM for firmware upgrades from a computer using Metrologic’s MetroSet2 application. It is compatible with OPOS and JPOS systems and uses the same cables and power supplies as the Voyager, Orbit, and Cubit.
