The Massa filter is an NDx4 neutral-density filter for camera lenses. It reduces the light entering the lens by 75%, or 2 stops, and extends the exposure time, helping to prevent overexposure and increase depth of field. It is neutral and does not cause color shifts or image distortion, and can be used for both color and black-and-white photography.
It is made of optical glass and features an anti-reflective coating, an aluminum frame, and double threading. It is suitable for photographing movement, such as clouds, flowing water, or busy streets. Two NDx4 filters can be stacked to extend the exposure time by up to 16 times.
