The B+W Clear Filter 007 MRC Basic 77 mm protective filter is made from optical glass and protects the lens from dirt, sand, water, and mechanical damage. It is completely colorless and does not affect ultraviolet radiation or the lens performance.

The MRC 7+1 coating provides high light transmission and maximum reflection, while the external coating is resistant to dirt and water. The low-profile brass mount is suitable for most common wide-angle lenses.
