The Alcofind PRO-X-3 digital breathalyzer uses a PRO-X electrochemical sensor and is operated with a single button. The four-digit LED display is backlit, and the mouthpiece lights up during testing. The memory stores the 10 most recent readings, and the device displays the total number of tests as well as the number of tests since the last calibration.

It features airflow control, a device self-test and a sensor diagnostic test. It displays the time remaining until calibration and indicates when calibration is required. Calibration is required every 12 months or after 1,000 tests.
