3M insulating tape is self-adhesive and flexible, made from special PVC. It seals the wrapped surface, preventing moisture and oxygen from getting in, and protects against damage caused by electrolytic corrosion and chemical exposure. It is resistant to ageing, weathering, water, brine, alkalis, acids, alcohol, oils and aliphatic hydrocarbons.

It resists mould, algae, microorganisms, rot and mussel growth, does not propagate flame and retains its properties in all climates.
