#1 bestseller in the New York Times, USA Today, Sunday Times, Toronto Star, and Amazon.

Nominated for the Goodreads Choice Awards 2024 as the best romantic book.

Over 34 thousand sales in its first week of release.

He is the man of her dreams...

Known for his procrastination, Henry Turner always knew that his third year at university wouldn’t be easy. That was before he even became the captain of the ice hockey team and found himself taking a tough class from a professor he doesn’t like. Fortunately, he meets a fellow student, Hallie, and the two quickly become friends.

Academic life has never been difficult for introverted Hallie; always wanting to please everyone and taking on more than she can handle, she offers to help Henry pass his class. In exchange, he will help her make her student life a bit more interesting – exactly what an aspiring writer needs...

Failure is not an option for either of them, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities for distractions...

They wrote about the book: “This book is a true dream for lovers of romantic stories. Heart, passion, a lesson on ‘private tutoring’ that transcends the classroom, and the signature magic of Hannah Grayce – Live the Dream is my favorite book in the Maple Hills universe. Hannah’s characters will make you feel like you’re at the center. Oh, and if you haven’t already fallen for Henry Turner… get ready to be enchanted.” –ELENA ARMAS, author of From Spain with Deceit.

"I think we should break up, Hallie." Will's serious expression looks ridiculous against the backdrop of my kitchen. Contrasted with the frills and florals my grandmother once chose and which I, always overly sentimental and nostalgic, never replaced. Against the backdrop of the lemon-colored cabinets, a DIY project she completed on her own after learning to make dry Martinis with Mrs. Astor next door. Against the backdrop of Joy, the ragdoll cat my grandmother bought to celebrate my move, who sleeps on the breakfast bar surrounded by handmade knitted fish. Against the smell of the second batch of croissants, because I always ruin the first one. Everything is too familiar. Too unserious. Too normal to justify his stiffness. His eyes follow my every movement as I take off the apron he bought me for my birthday, as if he's waiting for me to explode. The tension in his jaw accentuates the sharp angles of his face and he is nothing like the laid-back guy I dated last year, let alone the friend I've had for ten years. No, this Will is genuinely on edge.

  • Daydream by Hannah Grace is the third book in the Maple Hills series and, for me, it was one of those reads that make you smile and feel a warmth in your heart. The story follows Halle Jacobs, a student who, after a breakup, decides to focus on herself and her dreams, such as writing her first novel. Along the way, she meets Henry Turner, the new captain of the university's hockey team, who is struggling with a demanding class. Halle offers to help him with his studies, while Henry promises to give her new experiences to help her overcome her writer's block. What starts as an agreement between friends develops into something deeper, with the two discovering themselves and each other through their shared experiences.

What impressed me most was the character development. Halle learns to put herself first, while Henry faces his responsibilities and discovers his self-confidence. Their relationship is based on mutual understanding and support, which made their story feel authentic and touching.

Hannah Grace's writing is full of humor and emotion, with dialogues that flow naturally and moments that make you laugh and move you. The story explores themes such as self-discovery, the pressure of expectations, and the importance of communication in a relationship.

If you like romantic stories with real characters, emotional depth, and a touch of humor, then Daydream is for you. It's a book that makes you believe in love that is built on understanding and support.

  • Live the Dream is a feel-good romantic story set in the world of Maple Hills and follows two students who – while starting from completely different worlds – end up fitting together in an unexpectedly beautiful way. Henry Turner, the captain of the hockey team and somewhat known for his… procrastination, tries to balance academic pressure, his role on the team, and the everyday life of a student. There he meets Hallie – an introverted, organized, and very kind classmate.

When she offers to help him with the hardest class of the semester, they make a deal: she tutors him, and he helps her “break free” a little from her schedule and experience more of the student life she’s missing.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. Henry and Hallie are such well-written characters, and even though they have completely different personalities, they connect with each other in a sweet and natural way. Henry has no toxic traits at all – he is tender, supportive, and open, especially in how he talks about his ADHD and how he communicates it to Hallie. This was something I appreciated a lot.

The story flows smoothly and at a nice pace. There are scenes that make you smile, some more “spicy” but always with the right amount, and a tender relationship that builds step by step. It’s a romantic read that leaves you with a sense of sweetness and satisfaction.

hockey romance (he is captain), ADHD representation, he falls first, found family, virgin FMC, met in a bookstore
    .
So I return to my favorite Maple Hills to read the story of Hallie and Henry,
a book I was looking forward to reading as I heard the best things! And rightly so.

Hallie and Henry meet in a bookstore (the cutest thing) during Hallie's book club. The recently single protagonist is trying to find herself and make new friends while writing her first book for a contest. Henry, a quiet art student and hockey captain, seeks help from books on how to be a good leader and overcome his anxieties. The two of them start a sweet and beautiful friendship to help each other. With rules. Until the 4th rule (not to fall in love) somehow gets "blurred."

A very sweet romance, filled with books, drawings, spice, new experiences, a wonderful deep friendship, and beloved people who end up becoming family. I honestly loved the development of the author's writing in this book. I liked that she took the time to sketch out the characters and the experiences she wrote about! From a writing perspective, it was the best of the three. However, I must admit that it was also very slow burn without the spice we're used to, so around page 300, I found myself wondering if and when something would happen. But don't let that discourage you because our protagonists have the sweetest love story I've read lately! I highly recommend it
