I tried the machine on my body (using the appropriate head), but unfortunately it causes intense irritation and even gave me cuts. Do not buy it for this purpose.
As for beards and hair, its performance is average – neither good nor bad. Also, the Braun head is not particularly large, which reduces the effective cutting length and slows down the process.
In the past, I had the Philips Bodygroom, which is clearly superior. That one had a shape reminiscent of a razor, you could hold it the same way and it cut in both directions, but I see that this particular model is no longer widely available.
