Tight Regular Loose
It’s a multitool, so... it does almost everything, but not perfectly: I found it ideal for a trip where you’ll have only one pair of shoes. Very comfortable for thousands of steps, and it looks a little casual, so you can wear it to a restaurant too (you don’t look like a hardcore hiker). It also works on dirt trails if you have a bit of nature on your itinerary. In theory, it’s waterproof too (I haven’t tested it).
It’s very lightweight and has a very soft “air cushion” sole, which means it has very good shock absorption.
It’s on the wide side... meaning it doesn’t squeeze my foot, but it’s not one of the widest either.
The problem is its waterproofing, which doesn’t breathe well:
1. It makes a faint sound/noise like “aluminum foil” (crinkle-crinkle!)
2. My foot sweats excessively because no air gets through at all... It’s not that it’s excessively hot; it’s just that the heat from my foot turns into vapor and soaks the sock.... IT DOESN’T BREATHE WELL.
Because I’ve also tried waterproof Salomons costing 100+ euros... and I had the same issue with those too. In the end, my sock got soaked not from the rain but from my sweat, so I don’t know how much you have to spend to get everything...
Είναι πολυεργαλείο, άρα... τα κάνει σχεδόν όλα αλλά όχι τέλεια: Το βρήκα ιδανικό για ταξίδι που θα έχεις 1 μόνο παπούτσι. Πολύ άνετο για χιλιάδες βήματα, φαίνεται και λιγο casual οπότε μπαίνει και σε εστιατόριο (δεν φαίνεσαι πεζοπόρος hardcore), πατάει και στο χώμα αν έχεις και λιγη φύση στο πρόγραμμα. 1. Κάνει ένα ψιλό ήχο - θόρυβο σαν "αλουμινόχαρτο" (χριτς - χριτσ !)
2. Ιδρώνει υπερβολικά το πόδι καθώς δεν περνάει αέρας με τίποτα... δεν είναι ότι ειναι υπερβολικά ζεστό απλά η ζέστη από το πόδι γίνεται υδρατμός και αυτό μουλιάζει την κάλτσα.... ΔΕΝ ΕΧΕΙ ΚΑΛΗ ΔΙΑΠΝΟΗ
Επείδη έχω δοκιμάσει και Salomon 100+ ευρω αδιάβροχο.. και εκεί το ίδιο θέμα είχα.. στο τέλος μούλιαζε η κάλτσα όχι από τη βροχή αλλά από τον ιδρώτα μου, οπότε δεν ξέρω που πρέπει να φτάσεις σε τιμή για να τα έχεις όλα...
