The axe head is made from 1055 carbon steel. The edge of the Origin Mini Axe features a polished knife grinding, allowing for auxiliary carving tasks. Additionally, the head leaves a forged surface.
The handle is made from long-fiber sycamore wood, which transmits less vibration to the hand holding the axe. It was used for cutting small firewood, as required for outdoor cooking fires.
The leather carrying sheath is not included and can be ordered separately.
