The Synology ActiveProtect DP320 device is a data protection solution that comes pre-configured with hardware running the ActiveProtect Manager, an operating system specifically designed for backup purposes. With its ability to perform backup, restore, deduplication, replication, and management while ensuring security, the DP320 is an ideal backup server for your small and medium endpoints. It seamlessly integrates all current and future workloads across multiple locations into clusters, allowing centralized management through a single platform. With immutability, air-gapped backups, and access control, the DP320 protects against ransomware attacks and secures all your data.

Quick and Seamless Installation

Basic settings, such as disk partitioning and RAID array configuration, will be completed automatically, making installation quick and easy, so you can start protecting your data immediately.

Reliable Backup and Flexible Recovery

The DP320 supports self-healing functionality, continuously detecting silent data corruption through Btrfs checksum. It ensures zero errors, repairing the corrupted data through RAID technology.

To verify the recoverable state of backups, disaster recovery tests can be conducted in an isolated environment (sandbox) without affecting the main production area. Additionally, automatic backup verification is available, with video creation from recovery tests for audit purposes.

In case of disaster, data can be flexibly restored according to recovery time objectives (RTO) through: ✔ Full system restore ✔ Individual file recovery ✔ Physical to virtual system conversion (P2V) ✔ Virtual to virtual environment transfer (V2V)

Thus, data can be restored to the designated location easily and quickly.
