It does not include built-in hard drives, so you will need to add your own. Supports up to 4 drive units: HDD, M.2, SSD.

Supports RAID options 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, 60:

  • RAID 0: For speed only, not for backup. If even one disk fails, all data is lost.
  • RAID 1: Mirror of one disk onto another. If one disk fails, the system continues to operate.
  • RAID 5: Requires at least 3 disks. If one of the three fails, data remains safe.
  • RAID 6: Requires at least 4 disks. The system continues to operate if two disks fail.
  • RAID 50: Requires at least 6 disks, allows the loss of 1 disk with twice the speed of RAID 5.
  • RAID 60: Similar to RAID 50 but requires at least 8 disks.
