The TerraMaster F6-424 NAS is a tower model with 6 bays for SATA HDDs and SSDs, as well as 2 M.2 2280 NVMe slots. Its quad-core Intel N95 processor uses a 64-bit x86 architecture and supports hardware transcoding for H.264, H.265, MPEG-4, and VC-1, up to 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) at 60 FPS. It has 8 GB of DDR5 non-ECC SODIMM RAM, expandable to 32 GB.

The 2 Ethernet ports are 1GbE and 2.5GbE, and the network connection supports Link Aggregation. For expansion and peripherals, the NAS features HDMI 2.0b, one USB 3.2 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 10 Gbps ports, and two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. It supports backup, VPN Server, cloud sync, SSD cache, and hot-swap drive functions, as well as the Btrfs and EXT4 file systems for internal drives.
