I bought the RTX 5070 for about €560 (very close to the suggested price) as an upgrade from the RTX 3060 I previously had. It is a definite upgrade for the use I make, mainly 3D and video games.
In 3D, I see at least twice as good performance as the 3060, even though the VRAM is the same (although I would have preferred 16GB VRAM). The power consumption is about 130W, because it only uses the RT cores (speaking about Blender 3D).
In video games, it is very good (although if you only want games, then AMD is said to be a better choice). Nevertheless, in titles like AC Odyssey and The Division 2 at 4K with everything maxed out, it is locked at 60fps. Personally, I enable V-Sync and see that the power consumption is about 150W. The Talos Principle 2, which also uses the RT cores, consumed 250W at worst and reached about 40fps on high-ultra 4K. The frame gen from DLSS admittedly confused me, so I disabled it.
It is quite quiet, and I don't hear any annoying coil whine.
The 12-pin it needs to run works with a splitter that takes 2 8-pins and makes them into one 12-pin. The splitter is inside the box.
Since the computer has a 650W power supply (which is fine, and it also runs an R9 5900X), I don't have an extra 8-pin cable to connect the 3060 as well, which annoyed me a bit, but it's not a big deal.
Finally, it doesn't have RGB, the backplate is beautiful, and overall it's a beautiful card. And its box is very black and stealthy, let's say (not that it matters, just mentioning it).

Αγόρασα την rtx 5070 περίπου 560€ (πολύ κοντά στην προτεινόμενη τιμή) ως αναβάθμιση από την rtx 3060 που είχα προηγουμένως. Είναι μια σαφέστατη αναβάθμιση για τη χρήση που κάνω εγώ κυρίως 3d και βιντεοπαιχνίδια.
Στο 3d βλέπω 2 φορές τουλάχιστον καλυτερες επιδόσεις από την 3060 αν και η vram είναι στα ίδια (αν και θα προτιμούσα 16GB Vram). Η κατανάλωση είναι περίπου 130W, γιατί χρησιμοποιεί μόνο τους RT πυρήνες (μιλώντας για το blender 3d).
Σε βιντεοπαιχνίδια είναι πολύ καλή (αν και αν θες μόνο παιχνίδια, τότε οι amd λένε πως είναι καλύτερη επιλογή). Παρόλα αυτά, σε τίτλους όπως AC Odyssey και The Division 2 σε 4Κ όλα τέρματα, είναι καρφωμένη στα 60fps. Εγώ προσωπικά ενεργοποιω το V-Sync και βλέπω πως η κατανάλωση ισχύος είναι περίπου 150W. Τα 12pin που θέλει για να τρέξει τα καταφέρνει με ένα splitter που παίρνει 2 8πινα και τα κάνει ένα 12πινο. Το splitter είναι μέσα στο κουτί.
Επειδή ο υπολογιστής έχει 650W τροφοδοτικό (μια χαρά είναι, και τρέχει και έναν r9 5900x) δε μου περισσεύει 8πινο καλώδιο να συνδέσω και την 3060 που με ξίνισε λιγάκι, αλλά μικρό το κακό.
Τέλος, δεν έχει RGB, το backplate είναι όμορφο, και γενικά είναι όμορφη κάρτα. και το κουτί της είναι πολύ μαύρο και στέλθ να πούμε (όχι ότι έχει σημασία, απλά το αναφέρω).
