The POLYFON-BT bass trap is an innovative hybrid low-frequency absorption frame (bass trap) that simultaneously combines sound absorption and diffusion features. It can be placed in the corners of a room to improve acoustic quality and reverberation time, thus helping to reduce unwanted reflections, echo phenomena, and standing waves.

It consists of:

• POLYFON-BT (Base): Acoustic corner-type frame made of flexible foam polyurethane, with a textured design that absorbs sound energy.
• Diffusive Membrane (DM): Flexible membrane that creates a two-dimensional diffusive sound and enhances absorption at low frequencies.

The POLYFON-BT can be placed in the corners of a room or suspended from the ceiling. It is particularly useful for addressing low acoustic frequencies. Installation can be easily done with suitable glue or a tube fitted into the specially designed cavity on its back.
