The Proacoustics PRD-000022191 sound diffusers distribute early reflections evenly and help create a diffuse sound field in the room, while providing minimal sound absorption. Their two-dimensional design is based on a phase-shifted sequence of quadratic residues.

They are made from self-extinguishing, high-density polystyrene and can be painted in various shades. The perimeter flange allows them to be installed in standard suspended-ceiling grid systems, with a minimum clearance of 40 cm from the ceiling, or mounted on a wall. During installation, all diffusers must face the same direction to preserve the surface’s two-dimensional directivity.
