The Filtrato CT-14D dual countertop water filter filters water in two stages: the polypropylene filter traps dirt, sediment and rust, while the coconut-shell activated carbon filter reduces chlorine, odors, organic compounds, cysts and certain heavy metals. The carbon filter has a nominal rating of 0.5 μm and Hydrophilic treatment, while the polypropylene filter is 5 μm. The unit includes a faucet and accepts 10" replacement filters.
