The Filtrato CT-14D water filter connects to the kitchen faucet and, via an adapter, lets you choose between filtered and unfiltered water. It comes with a replacement Pure LRC 2510-P5 filter featuring solid coconut-shell activated carbon and a nominal filtration rating of 0.5 μm. The filter reduces heavy metals, chlorine, odors, volatile organic compounds, chemical compounds, cysts, and microorganisms measuring ≥0.5 μm.

The unit has a plastic filter housing and a faucet for countertop installation. The filter is 10" in size and can be replaced every 12 months or in accordance with the filtration capacity specified by the manufacturer. The replacement filter is certified by the Water Quality Association to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for materials and to ISO 9001.
