What a wild beast this is! I thought, instead of giving €600 for a relatively good laptop, let me give €200 more to get a MacBook, and from the day I got it I haven't regretted it for a moment. On the positive side, it's beautiful, super lightweight, the screen and speakers are out of this world, I can sit and work on it for endless hours and not even notice. As for the Apple ecosystem, I won't even comment—it works perfectly among all my devices and I can do things that would take me much longer on Windows. The trackpad is wonderful; I couldn't work without a mouse before and now I don't even want to touch one again. The battery easily lasts seven hours with light work, and once you realize how much easier Mac OS is to use, you won't want to touch Windows again. Now for the negatives, I was a bit hesitant because it didn't run a program I wanted, but I've downloaded VMware software and have a tiny version of Windows and it works relatively well, so my work gets done. Since it doesn't have fans, it's not suitable for working in hot environments or placing it on your lap in bed and working, because it heats up. I would have liked the screen to be a bit bigger, but other than that, I can't say it bothers me.
Τι θηρίο ανήμερο είναι αυτό! Σκέφτηκα από το να δώσω 600 € για ένα σχετικά καλό λάπτοπ ας δώσω 200 € παραπάνω για να πάρω ένα MacBook και από την ημέρα που το πήρα δεν το έχω μετανιώσει στιγμή. Στα θετικά του είναι πανέμορφο είναι πανάλαφρο η οθόνη και τα ηχεία είναι από άλλο κόσμο μπορώ να κάθομαι να δουλεύω σε αυτό άπειρες ώρες και να μην το καταλαβαίνω. Για το Apple ecosystem δεν το σχολιάζω λειτουργεί άριστα μεταξύ όλων των συσκευών μου και κάνω πράγματα που στα Windows μπορεί να μου έπαιρνε πολύ περισσότερη ώρα. Το track pad είναι υπέροχο δεν μπορούσαν να δουλέψω χωρίς ποντίκι και τώρα δε θέλω καν να το ξανακουμπήσω η μπαταρία κρατάει άνετα εφτά ωρίτσες με χαλαρή δουλειά και το Mac OS με το που πάρειs πρέφα πόσο πιο εύκολα λειτουργεί δεν θα θες να ξαναγγίξεις Windows στα χέρια σου. Τώρα στα αρνητικά, ήμουνα λίγο διστακτικός γιατί δεν έτρεχε ένα πρόγραμμα που ήθελα, έχω κατεβάσει VMware software και έχω τα Windows tiny version και τα πάει σχετικά κομπλέ οπότε η δουλειά μου γίνεται. Επειδή δεν έχει ανεμιστήρες δεν ενδείκνυται να δουλεύεις σε ζεστά περιβάλλοντα ή να το ακουμπάς πάνω στα πόδια σου στο κρεβάτι και να εργάζεσαι γιατί ζεσταίνεται θα ήθελα την οθόνη ένα τσακ πιο μεγάλη κατά τα άλλα δεν μπορώ να πω ότι με ενοχλεί κιόλας.
I am a software engineer who mainly uses Linux at work, I bought this laptop to try something new. It is indescribably infuriating even for simple tasks, windows open and close in whatever order they want, they constantly go full screen hiding the minimize etc. buttons and generally, trying to work on this machine I almost lost my mind, it's a good machine in terms of hardware but tragically bad user interface. Many told me I would get used to it but I am writing this review after a month of daily use. The only positive thing it has is file sharing between iOS devices. I honestly believe it is for hipsters who go to Starbucks and pretend to work, because real work on 13 inches seems almost impossible to me.

Είμαι μηχανικός λογισμικού που κατά βάση χρησιμοποιεί Linux στη δουλειά, αγόρασα αυτό το λάπτοπ για να δοκιμάσω κατι νεο. Είναι απερίγραπτα εξοργιστικό ακόμα και για απλά task, τα παράθυρα ανοίγουν και κλείνουν με όποια σειρά θέλουν, μόνιμα μπαίνουν σε full screen κρύβοντας τα minimize etc. Κουμπιά και γενικά προσπαθώντας να δουλέψω σε αυτό το μηχάνημα κόντεψα να χάσω τα λογικά μου, ένα καλό μηχάνημα από θέμα hardware αλλά τραγικά κακό user interface. Πολλοί μου είπαν θα το συνηθίσω αλλά γράφω αυτό το review μετά από έναν μήνα καθημερινής χρήσης. Το μόνο θετικό που έχει είναι το file sharing μεταξύ iOS συσκευών. Ειλικρινά πιστεύω πως είναι για χίπηδες που πάνε στα σταρμπαξ και προσποιούνται ότι δουλεύουν, γιατί κανονική δουλειά σε 13 ίντσες μου φαίνεται σχεδόν απίθανο.
Θα βγει σε αγγελία για πώληση αν δεν πάει για ανακύκλωση.

I have had - and still have - for years now an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods, but I was not familiar with the Mac environment, I hadn't even touched a mouse. I will say one thing: NEVER AGAIN ON WINDOWS. The environment wins you over from the very first moment, everything works together flawlessly. Incredible screen, amazing sound, the battery lasts for centuries, words in general are unnecessary. I will buy a new MacBook again in 15 years and maybe that's an understatement. It's worth every last euro, in case that might hold someone back.

Το περιβάλλον σε κερδίζει από την πρώτη στιγμή, όλα συνεργάζονται μεταξύ τους άψογα. Οθόνη απίστευτη, ήχος φοβερός, η μπαταρία κρατάει τρεις αιώνες, τα λόγια γενικότερα είναι περιττά. Αγορά νέου MacBook πάλι σε 15 χρόνια και μπορεί να λέω και λίγα. Αξίζει και το τελευταίο ευρώ, σε περίπτωση που αυτό ίσως να φρενάρει κάποιον.
Amazing machine. Incredible speed, beautiful and flawless operating system. A jewel, very thin and very light. I got the 512 SSD and 16GB RAM version and I think it's by far the best deal currently available in laptops for its price. If anyone tells you that for the same money you can get a Windows laptop that is "much better," ask them if that laptop ever leaves the socket, because the chronic problem of Windows laptops (I had one at this price and it was indeed powerful) is that their battery barely lasts 1.5-2 hours without charging, and if it's not plugged in while working, the laptop's performance drops by 35-50%.
First of all, the MacBook has an incredible battery, with 25-30 tabs open in Safari (many of them YouTube, which consumes a lot of energy), simultaneously 5-6 heavy Canva tabs open, and 2-3 more apps (mail, Apple Music, chatgpt, and whatever else extra), it consumes 20% battery in about 2.5 hours of continuous use with brightness at about 50-60%. Practically, it gives about 12-14 hours of pure operation with the usage I mentioned above. I haven't happened to use it while charging, and I recommend avoiding it as much as possible since it significantly reduces battery health.
This M4 is incredibly fast and powerful, you can easily do tasks that MacBook Pros do, with the only difference in performance being the battery, which is nominally smaller, and that the Pros have a fan, so they can handle heavy tasks like Blender, Photoshop, After Effects, video editing, etc. for longer. You can easily do these tasks with this Air, but at some point, you'll see its performance decrease at a certain time and workload, if you're into editing. This hasn't happened to me, as I haven't noticed it getting even a little warm, except for 1-2 times during charging, which is absolutely normal.
The screen is extremely good, clear-crystal, very close to that of the Pros, it's just LCD instead of mini LED, and it's 60Hz instead of 120Hz, things that personally didn't bother me, coming from a MacBook Pro M3 Pro. If you're a serious content creator and your budget allows, MacBooks are generally the only way to go as their screens have the best and most accurate color reproduction.
The charger that came in the box was 35W with two type-c ports, maybe a bit annoying if you want to fast charge the MacBook which supports up to 70W fast charging. This problem is solved by buying a charger like Anker 65W+ for 30-40 euros.
Finally, it's incredibly thin and light, which makes it not only beautiful but also incredibly convenient for transport and use in tighter spaces.
I think if you have the budget and all the above are reasons that matter to you, then it's a no-brainer purchase. Plus, as is well known, it's an Apple product which means it will receive all the new updates for at least 5-6 years and will have truly great longevity. There are many people who still do their work with 8-9 year old MacBooks, and are still considering whether it's worth upgrading, because what they have still fully covers their needs. Certainly, though, it's not a laptop for gaming.
Tip: the sky blue color is very close to silver visually, I went with silver, while the midnight (dark blue that is close to black) leaves a lot of fingerprints and needs to be cleaned quite often.
Τρομερό μηχάνημα. Απίστευτη ταχύτητα, πανέμορφο και flawless λειτουργικό. Κόσμημα, πολύ λεπτό και πολύ ελαφρύ. Πήρα την έκδοση των 512 SSD και 16gb ram και νομίζω ότι είναι με διαφορά το καλύτερο deal που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή σε λάπτοπ σε σχέση και με την τιμή του. Αν κανείς σας πει οτι στα ίδια λεφτά παίρνει windows laptop που "είναι πολύ καλύτερο" ρωτήστε τον αν ξεκολλάει καθόλου το λάπτοπ αυτό από την πρίζα, καθώς το χρόνιο πρόβλημα των windows laptops (είχα κι εγω σε αυτά τα χρήματα και ήταν όντως δυνατό) είναι ότι η μπαταρία τους κρατάει οριακά 1μιση-2 ώρες χωρίς φόρτιση, κι αν δεν είναι στην πρίζα όταν το δουλεύουν πέφτει η απόδοση-δύναμη του λάπτοπ κατά 35-50%.
Αρχικά το MacBook έχει απίστευτη μπαταρία, με 25-30 καρτέλες ανοικτές στο safari (και αρκετες απο αυτές να είναι YouTube που τρώει αρκετή ενέργεια), ταυτόχρονα Canva 5-6 βαριές καρτέλες ανοικτές, και 2-3 εφαρμογές ακόμα (mail, Apple Music, chatgpt και ότι άλλο έξτρα) καταναλώνει 20% μπαταρίας σε περίπου 2μιση ώρες συνεχόμενης χρήσης με την φωτεινότητα περίπου στο 50-60%. Πρακτικά βγάζει περίπου 12-14 ώρες καθαρής λειτουργίας με την χρήση που ανέφερα παραπάνω. Δεν έχει τύχει να το δουλέψω ενώ παράλληλα φορτίζει, και προτείνω όσο μπορείτε να το αποφεύγετε καθώς έτσι μειώνεται σημαντικά η υγεία μπαταρίας του.
Ο συγκεκριμένος Μ4 είναι απίστευτα γρήρορος και δυνατός, κάνεις εύκολα εργασίες που κάνουν τα MacBook Pro, με την μοναδική διαφορά στην απόδοση να είναι η μπαταρία που είναι ονομαστικά μικρότερη και στο ότι τα Pro έχουν ανεμιστηράκι, άρα μπορούν να αντέξουν για περισσότερη ώρα βαριές εργασίες τύπου blender, photoshop, after effects, video editing κλπ. Εργασίες που τις κάνεις άνετα με το συγκεκριμένο Air απλά σε κάποια φάση θα δεις να μειώνεται η απόδοση του σε συγκεκριμένο χρόνο και όγκο εργασιών, αν είσαι στο κομμάτι του editing. Κάτι που δεν μου έχει συμβεί, καθώς δεν έχω παρατηρήσει ούτε μια φορά να ζεστένεται έστω και λίγο, εκτός απο 1-2 φορές που συνέβει την ώρα της φόρτισης, πράγμα απολύτως φυσιολογικό.
Οθόνη έχει τρομερά καλή, καθαρή-κρύσταλλο, πολύ κοντά σε αυτή των Pro, απλά είναι lcd αντί για mini led, και ειναι 60hz αντί για 120hz, πράγματα που προσωπικά εμένα δεν με ενόχλησαν, προερχόμενος από MacBook Pro M3 Pro. Αν είσαι σοβαρός content creator και το σηκώνει το πορτοφόλι σου τα MacBook γενικά είναι μονόδρομος καθώς η οθόνες τους έχουν την καλύτερη και πιο πιστή αποτύπωση χρωμάτων.
Ο φορτιστής που ήρθε με το κουτί ήταν 35W με δυο θύρες type-c, ίσως λίγο ενοχλητικό εάν θέλεις να φορτίζεις γρήγορα το MacBook το οποίο υποστηρίζει μέχρι και 70W γρήγορη φόρτιση. Το πρόβλημα αυτό βέβαια λύνεται με αγορά φορτιστή πχ Anker 65W+ στα 30-40 ευρώ.
Τέλος είναι τρομερά λεπτό και ελαφρύ, πράγμα που το κάνει εκτός από πανέμορφο και απίστευτα βολικό στην μετακίνηση και στην χρησιμοποίηση του σε πιο στενούς χώρους.
Νομίζω ότι αν έχεις το συγκεκριμένο μπάτζετ κι όλα τα παραπάνω είναι για σένα αιτίες που αξίζουν για να το αγοράσεις, τότε είναι καθαρά no-brainer αγορά. Συν ότι ως γνωστόν είναι προιόν της Apple που σημαίνει ότι θα παίρνει για τουλάχιστον 5-6 χρόνια όλα τα καινούρια updates και θα έχει πραγματικά μεγάλο longevity. Υπάρχουν πολλοί άνθρωποι που κάνουν ακόμα τη δουλειά τους με MacBook 8-9 ετών, κι ακόμα σκέφτονται αν αξίζει να κάνουν την αλλαγή, γιατί με αυτό που έχουν είναι πλήρως καλυμμένοι. Σίγουρα πάντως δεν είναι λάπτοπ για gaming.
Tip: το χρώμα sky blue είναι πολύ κοντά στο silver οπτικά, εγώ πήγα στο silver, ενώ το midnight (σκούρο μπλέ που πλησιάζει προς το μαύρο) αφήνει πολλές δακτυλιές και χρειάζεται αρκετά συχνά καθάρισμα.

Impeccable machine - a work of art. Perfect keyboard, the trackpad is so excellent that I can't be bothered to take the mouse out of the bag. Construction-wise, it's above anything else on the market. macOS is nice, flawless cooperation with the iPhone and AirPods. The programming tools I use run perfectly, whatever I've thrown at it - it handles effortlessly. The battery never runs out - completely silent.

Ωραίο το macOS, άψογη συνεργασία με το iPhone και τα AirPods. Τα εργαλεία προγραμματισμού που χρησιμοποιώ πάνε τρένο, οτιδήποτε του έχω βάλει - το πάει αμάσητο. Η μπαταρία δεν τελειώνει με την καμία - αθόρυβο 100%.
I am writing this review after 6 months of use.
I bought the MacBook for my postgraduate studies. For the Office programs, I had to pay extra, because their own Word-type program ("Text") is really difficult to use.
The day before yesterday, while I was writing my assignment, the computer froze. I restarted it and then I couldn't get back in. The password I use every day was suddenly considered “incorrect.” I was forced to reset it, but that means everything gets deleted and you have to install the original version of the system and then all the updates from scratch.
And all this happened 72 hours before my assignment was due. I have never experienced such stress. I started at 9 in the evening and managed to set it up again only at 1 in the afternoon. It really drained me.
I regret not getting a simple computer with Windows.
If you work with numbers or accounting programs, better stay away.
If you want gaming, not even as a joke.
This laptop is only for email, browser, and to enjoy their beautiful but limited ecosystem.
For work—especially as an accountant—it did not suit me at all.
Overall, I feel like I wasted my money for nothing.

Αγόρασα το MacBook για το μεταπτυχιακό μου. Για τα προγράμματα Office χρειάστηκε να πληρώσω επιπλέον, γιατί το δικό τους πρόγραμμα τύπου Word (το «Text») είναι πραγματικά δύσχρηστο.
Προχθές, καθώς έγραφα την εργασία μου, ο υπολογιστής κόλλησε. Τον έκανα επανεκκίνηση και μετά δεν μπορούσα να μπω ξανά. Ο κωδικός που βάζω καθημερινά ξαφνικά θεωρούνταν “λανθασμένος”. Αναγκάστηκα να τον επαναφέρω, αλλά αυτό σημαίνει ότι σβήνονται τα πάντα και πρέπει να γίνει εγκατάσταση της αρχικής έκδοσης του συστήματος και μετά όλα τα updates από την αρχή.
Και όλα αυτά συνέβησαν 72 ώρες πριν την παράδοση της εργασίας μου. Δεν έχω ξαναζήσει τέτοιο άγχος. Ξεκίνησα στις 9 το βράδυ και κατάφερα να τον στήσω από την αρχή μόλις στις 1 το μεσημέρι. Πραγματικά μου ήπιε το αίμα.
Μετάνιωσα που δεν πήρα έναν απλό υπολογιστή με Windows.
Αν δουλεύετε με αριθμούς ή λογιστικά προγράμματα, καλύτερα μείνετε μακριά.
Αν θέλετε gaming, ούτε για αστείο.
Αυτό το laptop είναι μόνο για email, browser και για να χαρείτε το όμορφο, αλλά περιορισμένο, οικοσυστημά τους.
Για δουλειά – ειδικά σαν λογίστρια – δεν μου ταίριαξε καθόλου.

I bought it with an invoice for €750. This laptop is perhaps the most value for money in the history of technology. The specs you get for this money are truly insane. I use it for music production with Ableton and countless plugins and not only does it not lag, but I haven't even come close to saying that it struggled in any way. To understand the difference, this one replaced a 2015 MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM. On that Mac, I would open a specific synthesizer and the sound would stutter because it was too heavy. On the new Mac, I tried opening the same plugin about 70 times and it didn't even struggle. Not to mention, it's an ultra-light and beautiful laptop for everyday use with a battery that lasts an entire day. Don't even think about it, just go for it with your eyes closed!

Στο νέο Μακ δοκίμασα να ανοίξω το ίδιο πλαγκιν περίπου 70 φορές και δεν ζοριστηκε καν. Δεν το συζητώ ότι είναι και ένα παναλαφρο και πανέμορφο λάπτοπ για καθημερινή χρήση με μπαταρία που κρατά μια ολόκληρη ημέρα. Μην το σκέφτεστε καν, με κλειστά τα μάτια!

What a wild beast this is! I thought, instead of giving €600 for a relatively good laptop, let me give €200 more to get a MacBook, and from the day I got it I haven't regretted it for a moment. On the positive side, it's beautiful, super lightweight, the screen and speakers are out of this world, I can sit and work on it for endless hours and not even notice. As for the Apple ecosystem, I won't even comment—it works perfectly among all my devices and I can do things that would take me much longer on Windows. The trackpad is wonderful; I couldn't work without a mouse before and now I don't even want to touch one again. The battery easily lasts seven hours with light work, and once you realize how much easier Mac OS is to use, you won't want to touch Windows again. Now for the negatives, I was a bit hesitant because it didn't run a program I wanted, but I've downloaded VMware software and have a tiny version of Windows and it works relatively well, so my work gets done. Since it doesn't have fans, it's not suitable for working in hot environments or placing it on your lap in bed and working, because it heats up. I would have liked the screen to be a bit bigger, but other than that, I can't say it bothers me.

Στα θετικά του είναι πανέμορφο είναι πανάλαφρο η οθόνη και τα ηχεία είναι από άλλο κόσμο μπορώ να κάθομαι να δουλεύω σε αυτό άπειρες ώρες και να μην το καταλαβαίνω. Για το Apple ecosystem δεν το σχολιάζω λειτουργεί άριστα μεταξύ όλων των συσκευών μου και κάνω πράγματα που στα Windows μπορεί να μου έπαιρνε πολύ περισσότερη ώρα. I am a software engineer who mainly uses Linux at work, I bought this laptop to try something new. It is indescribably infuriating even for simple tasks, windows open and close in whatever order they want, they constantly go full screen hiding the minimize etc. buttons and generally, trying to work on this machine I almost lost my mind, it's a good machine in terms of hardware but tragically bad user interface. Many told me I would get used to it but I am writing this review after a month of daily use. The only positive thing it has is file sharing between iOS devices. I honestly believe it is for hipsters who go to Starbucks and pretend to work, because real work on 13 inches seems almost impossible to me.

Είναι απερίγραπτα εξοργιστικό ακόμα και για απλά task, τα παράθυρα ανοίγουν και κλείνουν με όποια σειρά θέλουν, μόνιμα μπαίνουν σε full screen κρύβοντας τα minimize etc. Κουμπιά και γενικά προσπαθώντας να δουλέψω σε αυτό το μηχάνημα κόντεψα να χάσω τα λογικά μου, ένα καλό μηχάνημα από θέμα hardware αλλά τραγικά κακό user interface. Πολλοί μου είπαν θα το συνηθίσω αλλά γράφω αυτό το review μετά από έναν μήνα καθημερινής χρήσης. Το μόνο θετικό που έχει είναι το file sharing μεταξύ iOS συσκευών. Ειλικρινά πιστεύω πως είναι για χίπηδες που πάνε στα σταρμπαξ και προσποιούνται ότι δουλεύουν, γιατί κανονική δουλειά σε 13 ίντσες μου φαίνεται σχεδόν απίθανο.

I have had - and still have - for years now an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods, but I was not familiar with the Mac environment, I hadn't even touched a mouse. I will say one thing: NEVER AGAIN ON WINDOWS. The environment wins you over from the very first moment, everything works together flawlessly. Incredible screen, amazing sound, the battery lasts for centuries, words in general are unnecessary. I will buy a new MacBook again in 15 years and maybe that's an understatement. It's worth every last euro, in case that might hold someone back.
Είχα -και έχω- έως τώρα για χρόνια iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch και AirPods αλλά το περιβάλλον των Mac δεν το γνώριζα, δεν είχα πιάσει καν ποντίκι. Ένα πράγμα θα πω: ΠΟΤΕ ΞΑΝΑ ΣΕ WINDOWS. Το περιβάλλον σε κερδίζει από την πρώτη στιγμή, όλα συνεργάζονται μεταξύ τους άψογα. Οθόνη απίστευτη, ήχος φοβερός, η μπαταρία κρατάει τρεις αιώνες, τα λόγια γενικότερα είναι περιττά. Αγορά νέου MacBook πάλι σε 15 χρόνια και μπορεί να λέω και λίγα. Αξίζει και το τελευταίο ευρώ, σε περίπτωση που αυτό ίσως να φρενάρει κάποιον.
Amazing machine. Incredible speed, beautiful and flawless operating system. A jewel, very thin and very light. I got the 512 SSD and 16GB RAM version and I think it's by far the best deal currently available in laptops for its price. If anyone tells you that for the same money you can get a Windows laptop that is "much better," ask them if that laptop ever leaves the socket, because the chronic problem of Windows laptops (I had one at this price and it was indeed powerful) is that their battery barely lasts 1.5-2 hours without charging, and if it's not plugged in while working, the laptop's performance drops by 35-50%.
First of all, the MacBook has an incredible battery, with 25-30 tabs open in Safari (many of them YouTube, which consumes a lot of energy), simultaneously 5-6 heavy Canva tabs open, and 2-3 more apps (mail, Apple Music, chatgpt, and whatever else extra), it consumes 20% battery in about 2.5 hours of continuous use with brightness at about 50-60%. Practically, it gives about 12-14 hours of pure operation with the usage I mentioned above. I haven't happened to use it while charging, and I recommend avoiding it as much as possible since it significantly reduces battery health.
This M4 is incredibly fast and powerful, you can easily do tasks that MacBook Pros do, with the only difference in performance being the battery, which is nominally smaller, and that the Pros have a fan, so they can handle heavy tasks like Blender, Photoshop, After Effects, video editing, etc. for longer. You can easily do these tasks with this Air, but at some point, you'll see its performance decrease at a certain time and workload, if you're into editing. This hasn't happened to me, as I haven't noticed it getting even a little warm, except for 1-2 times during charging, which is absolutely normal.
The screen is extremely good, clear-crystal, very close to that of the Pros, it's just LCD instead of mini LED, and it's 60Hz instead of 120Hz, things that personally didn't bother me, coming from a MacBook Pro M3 Pro. If you're a serious content creator and your budget allows, MacBooks are generally the only way to go as their screens have the best and most accurate color reproduction.
The charger that came in the box was 35W with two type-c ports, maybe a bit annoying if you want to fast charge the MacBook which supports up to 70W fast charging. This problem is solved by buying a charger like Anker 65W+ for 30-40 euros.
Finally, it's incredibly thin and light, which makes it not only beautiful but also incredibly convenient for transport and use in tighter spaces.
I think if you have the budget and all the above are reasons that matter to you, then it's a no-brainer purchase. Plus, as is well known, it's an Apple product which means it will receive all the new updates for at least 5-6 years and will have truly great longevity. There are many people who still do their work with 8-9 year old MacBooks, and are still considering whether it's worth upgrading, because what they have still fully covers their needs. Certainly, though, it's not a laptop for gaming.
Tip: the sky blue color is very close to silver visually, I went with silver, while the midnight (dark blue that is close to black) leaves a lot of fingerprints and needs to be cleaned quite often.
Τρομερό μηχάνημα. Απίστευτη ταχύτητα, πανέμορφο και flawless λειτουργικό. Κόσμημα, πολύ λεπτό και πολύ ελαφρύ. Πήρα την έκδοση των 512 SSD και 16gb ram και νομίζω ότι είναι με διαφορά το καλύτερο deal που υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή σε λάπτοπ σε σχέση και με την τιμή του. Αν κανείς σας πει οτι στα ίδια λεφτά παίρνει windows laptop που "είναι πολύ καλύτερο" ρωτήστε τον αν ξεκολλάει καθόλου το λάπτοπ αυτό από την πρίζα, καθώς το χρόνιο πρόβλημα των windows laptops (είχα κι εγω σε αυτά τα χρήματα και ήταν όντως δυνατό) είναι ότι η μπαταρία τους κρατάει οριακά 1μιση-2 ώρες χωρίς φόρτιση, κι αν δεν είναι στην πρίζα όταν το δουλεύουν πέφτει η απόδοση-δύναμη του λάπτοπ κατά 35-50%.
Αρχικά το MacBook έχει απίστευτη μπαταρία, με 25-30 καρτέλες ανοικτές στο safari (και αρκετες απο αυτές να είναι YouTube που τρώει αρκετή ενέργεια), ταυτόχρονα Canva 5-6 βαριές καρτέλες ανοικτές, και 2-3 εφαρμογές ακόμα (mail, Apple Music, chatgpt και ότι άλλο έξτρα) καταναλώνει 20% μπαταρίας σε περίπου 2μιση ώρες συνεχόμενης χρήσης με την φωτεινότητα περίπου στο 50-60%. Πρακτικά βγάζει περίπου 12-14 ώρες καθαρής λειτουργίας με την χρήση που ανέφερα παραπάνω. Δεν έχει τύχει να το δουλέψω ενώ παράλληλα φορτίζει, και προτείνω όσο μπορείτε να το αποφεύγετε καθώς έτσι μειώνεται σημαντικά η υγεία μπαταρίας του.
Ο συγκεκριμένος Μ4 είναι απίστευτα γρήρορος και δυνατός, κάνεις εύκολα εργασίες που κάνουν τα MacBook Pro, με την μοναδική διαφορά στην απόδοση να είναι η μπαταρία που είναι ονομαστικά μικρότερη και στο ότι τα Pro έχουν ανεμιστηράκι, άρα μπορούν να αντέξουν για περισσότερη ώρα βαριές εργασίες τύπου blender, photoshop, after effects, video editing κλπ. Εργασίες που τις κάνεις άνετα με το συγκεκριμένο Air απλά σε κάποια φάση θα δεις να μειώνεται η απόδοση του σε συγκεκριμένο χρόνο και όγκο εργασιών, αν είσαι στο κομμάτι του editing. Κάτι που δεν μου έχει συμβεί, καθώς δεν έχω παρατηρήσει ούτε μια φορά να ζεστένεται έστω και λίγο, εκτός απο 1-2 φορές που συνέβει την ώρα της φόρτισης, πράγμα απολύτως φυσιολογικό.
Οθόνη έχει τρομερά καλή, καθαρή-κρύσταλλο, πολύ κοντά σε αυτή των Pro, απλά είναι lcd αντί για mini led, και ειναι 60hz αντί για 120hz, πράγματα που προσωπικά εμένα δεν με ενόχλησαν, προερχόμενος από MacBook Pro M3 Pro. Αν είσαι σοβαρός content creator και το σηκώνει το πορτοφόλι σου τα MacBook γενικά είναι μονόδρομος καθώς η οθόνες τους έχουν την καλύτερη και πιο πιστή αποτύπωση χρωμάτων.
Ο φορτιστής που ήρθε με το κουτί ήταν 35W με δυο θύρες type-c, ίσως λίγο ενοχλητικό εάν θέλεις να φορτίζεις γρήγορα το MacBook το οποίο υποστηρίζει μέχρι και 70W γρήγορη φόρτιση. Το πρόβλημα αυτό βέβαια λύνεται με αγορά φορτιστή πχ Anker 65W+ στα 30-40 ευρώ.
Τέλος είναι τρομερά λεπτό και ελαφρύ, πράγμα που το κάνει εκτός από πανέμορφο και απίστευτα βολικό στην μετακίνηση και στην χρησιμοποίηση του σε πιο στενούς χώρους.
Νομίζω ότι αν έχεις το συγκεκριμένο μπάτζετ κι όλα τα παραπάνω είναι για σένα αιτίες που αξίζουν για να το αγοράσεις, τότε είναι καθαρά no-brainer αγορά. Συν ότι ως γνωστόν είναι προιόν της Apple που σημαίνει ότι θα παίρνει για τουλάχιστον 5-6 χρόνια όλα τα καινούρια updates και θα έχει πραγματικά μεγάλο longevity. Υπάρχουν πολλοί άνθρωποι που κάνουν ακόμα τη δουλειά τους με MacBook 8-9 ετών, κι ακόμα σκέφτονται αν αξίζει να κάνουν την αλλαγή, γιατί με αυτό που έχουν είναι πλήρως καλυμμένοι. Σίγουρα πάντως δεν είναι λάπτοπ για gaming.
Tip: το χρώμα sky blue είναι πολύ κοντά στο silver οπτικά, εγώ πήγα στο silver, ενώ το midnight (σκούρο μπλέ που πλησιάζει προς το μαύρο) αφήνει πολλές δακτυλιές και χρειάζεται αρκετά συχνά καθάρισμα.

Impeccable machine - a work of art. Perfect keyboard, the trackpad is so excellent that I can't be bothered to take the mouse out of the bag. Construction-wise, it's above anything else on the market. macOS is nice, flawless cooperation with the iPhone and AirPods. The programming tools I use run perfectly, whatever I've thrown at it - it handles effortlessly. The battery never runs out - completely silent.

Ωραίο το macOS, άψογη συνεργασία με το iPhone και τα AirPods. Τα εργαλεία προγραμματισμού που χρησιμοποιώ πάνε τρένο, οτιδήποτε του έχω βάλει - το πάει αμάσητο. Η μπαταρία δεν τελειώνει με την καμία - αθόρυβο 100%.
I am writing this review after 6 months of use.
I bought the MacBook for my postgraduate studies. For the Office programs, I had to pay extra, because their own Word-type program ("Text") is really difficult to use.
The day before yesterday, while I was writing my assignment, the computer froze. I restarted it and then I couldn't get back in. The password I use every day was suddenly considered “incorrect.” I was forced to reset it, but that means everything gets deleted and you have to install the original version of the system and then all the updates from scratch.
And all this happened 72 hours before my assignment was due. I have never experienced such stress. I started at 9 in the evening and managed to set it up again only at 1 in the afternoon. It really drained me.
I regret not getting a simple computer with Windows.
If you work with numbers or accounting programs, better stay away.
If you want gaming, not even as a joke.
This laptop is only for email, browser, and to enjoy their beautiful but limited ecosystem.
For work—especially as an accountant—it did not suit me at all.
Overall, I feel like I wasted my money for nothing.

Αγόρασα το MacBook για το μεταπτυχιακό μου. Για τα προγράμματα Office χρειάστηκε να πληρώσω επιπλέον, γιατί το δικό τους πρόγραμμα τύπου Word (το «Text») είναι πραγματικά δύσχρηστο.
Προχθές, καθώς έγραφα την εργασία μου, ο υπολογιστής κόλλησε. Τον έκανα επανεκκίνηση και μετά δεν μπορούσα να μπω ξανά. Ο κωδικός που βάζω καθημερινά ξαφνικά θεωρούνταν “λανθασμένος”. Αναγκάστηκα να τον επαναφέρω, αλλά αυτό σημαίνει ότι σβήνονται τα πάντα και πρέπει να γίνει εγκατάσταση της αρχικής έκδοσης του συστήματος και μετά όλα τα updates από την αρχή.
Και όλα αυτά συνέβησαν 72 ώρες πριν την παράδοση της εργασίας μου. Δεν έχω ξαναζήσει τέτοιο άγχος. Ξεκίνησα στις 9 το βράδυ και κατάφερα να τον στήσω από την αρχή μόλις στις 1 το μεσημέρι. Πραγματικά μου ήπιε το αίμα.
Μετάνιωσα που δεν πήρα έναν απλό υπολογιστή με Windows.
Αν δουλεύετε με αριθμούς ή λογιστικά προγράμματα, καλύτερα μείνετε μακριά.
Αν θέλετε gaming, ούτε για αστείο.
Αυτό το laptop είναι μόνο για email, browser και για να χαρείτε το όμορφο, αλλά περιορισμένο, οικοσυστημά τους.
Για δουλειά – ειδικά σαν λογίστρια – δεν μου ταίριαξε καθόλου.
Συνολικά, νιώθω ότι πέταξα τα χρήματά μου άδικα.
I bought it with an invoice for €750. This laptop is perhaps the most value for money in the history of technology. The specs you get for this money are truly insane. I use it for music production with Ableton and countless plugins and not only does it not lag, but I haven't even come close to saying that it struggled in any way. To understand the difference, this one replaced a 2015 MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM. On that Mac, I would open a specific synthesizer and the sound would stutter because it was too heavy. On the new Mac, I tried opening the same plugin about 70 times and it didn't even struggle. Not to mention, it's an ultra-light and beautiful laptop for everyday use with a battery that lasts an entire day. Don't even think about it, just go for it with your eyes closed!
Το πήρα με τιμολόγιο 750€. Αυτό το λάπτοπ είναι ίσως το πιο value for money στην ιστορία της τεχνολογίας. Το τι specs αγοράζεις με αυτά τα χρήματα είναι πραγματικά τρελό. Για να καταλάβετε τη διαφορά, το συγκεκριμένο αντικατέστησε ένα macbook pro 2015 8gb. Σε εκείνο το Μακ άνοιγα ένα συγκεκριμένο συνθεσάιζερ και κολλουσε ο ήχος γιατί ήταν πολύ βαρύ. Στο νέο Μακ δοκίμασα να ανοίξω το ίδιο πλαγκιν περίπου 70 φορές και δεν ζοριστηκε καν. Δεν το συζητώ ότι είναι και ένα παναλαφρο και πανέμορφο λάπτοπ για καθημερινή χρήση με μπαταρία που κρατά μια ολόκληρη ημέρα. Μην το σκέφτεστε καν, με κλειστά τα μάτια!
They gave me this Macbook as a gift a few days ago, excellent! It has never frozen, I use it for coding and medium gaming.
The first time since 2006 when I started with Windows that I 'change' operating system... I can confidently say that this particular MacBook has truly won me over, it is more than worth it!

What a wild beast this is! I thought, instead of giving €600 for a relatively good laptop, let me give €200 more to get a MacBook, and from the day I got it I haven't regretted it for a moment. On the positive side, it's beautiful, super lightweight, the screen and speakers are out of this world, I can sit and work on it for endless hours and not even notice. As for the Apple ecosystem, I won't even comment—it works perfectly among all my devices and I can do things that would take me much longer on Windows. The trackpad is wonderful; I couldn't work without a mouse before and now I don't even want to touch one again. The battery easily lasts seven hours with light work, and once you realize how much easier Mac OS is to use, you won't want to touch Windows again. Now for the negatives, I was a bit hesitant because it didn't run a program I wanted, but I've downloaded VMware software and have a tiny version of Windows and it works relatively well, so my work gets done. Since it doesn't have fans, it's not suitable for working in hot environments or placing it on your lap in bed and working, because it heats up. I would have liked the screen to be a bit bigger, but other than that, I can't say it bothers me.
Τι θηρίο ανήμερο είναι αυτό! Σκέφτηκα από το να δώσω 600 € για ένα σχετικά καλό λάπτοπ ας δώσω 200 € παραπάνω για να πάρω ένα MacBook και από την ημέρα που το πήρα δεν το έχω μετανιώσει στιγμή. Στα θετικά του είναι πανέμορφο είναι πανάλαφρο η οθόνη και τα ηχεία είναι από άλλο κόσμο μπορώ να κάθομαι να δουλεύω σε αυτό άπειρες ώρες και να μην το καταλαβαίνω. Για το Apple ecosystem δεν το σχολιάζω λειτουργεί άριστα μεταξύ όλων των συσκευών μου και κάνω πράγματα που στα Windows μπορεί να μου έπαιρνε πολύ περισσότερη ώρα. Το track pad είναι υπέροχο δεν μπορούσαν να δουλέψω χωρίς ποντίκι και τώρα δε θέλω καν να το ξανακουμπήσω η μπαταρία κρατάει άνετα εφτά ωρίτσες με χαλαρή δουλειά και το Mac OS με το που πάρειs πρέφα πόσο πιο εύκολα λειτουργεί δεν θα θες να ξαναγγίξεις Windows στα χέρια σου. Τώρα στα αρνητικά, ήμουνα λίγο διστακτικός γιατί δεν έτρεχε ένα πρόγραμμα που ήθελα, έχω κατεβάσει VMware software και έχω τα Windows tiny version και τα πάει σχετικά κομπλέ οπότε η δουλειά μου γίνεται. Επειδή δεν έχει ανεμιστήρες δεν ενδείκνυται να δουλεύεις σε ζεστά περιβάλλοντα ή να το ακουμπάς πάνω στα πόδια σου στο κρεβάτι και να εργάζεσαι γιατί ζεσταίνεται θα ήθελα την οθόνη ένα τσακ πιο μεγάλη κατά τα άλλα δεν μπορώ να πω ότι με ενοχλεί κιόλας.
I am a software engineer who mainly uses Linux at work, I bought this laptop to try something new. It is indescribably infuriating even for simple tasks, windows open and close in whatever order they want, they constantly go full screen hiding the minimize etc. buttons and generally, trying to work on this machine I almost lost my mind, it's a good machine in terms of hardware but tragically bad user interface. Many told me I would get used to it but I am writing this review after a month of daily use. The only positive thing it has is file sharing between iOS devices. I honestly believe it is for hipsters who go to Starbucks and pretend to work, because real work on 13 inches seems almost impossible to me.
It will be put up for sale unless it goes for recycling.
Είμαι μηχανικός λογισμικού που κατά βάση χρησιμοποιεί Linux στη δουλειά, αγόρασα αυτό το λάπτοπ για να δοκιμάσω κατι νεο. Είναι απερίγραπτα εξοργιστικό ακόμα και για απλά task, τα παράθυρα ανοίγουν και κλείνουν με όποια σειρά θέλουν, μόνιμα μπαίνουν σε full screen κρύβοντας τα minimize etc. Κουμπιά και γενικά προσπαθώντας να δουλέψω σε αυτό το μηχάνημα κόντεψα να χάσω τα λογικά μου, ένα καλό μηχάνημα από θέμα hardware αλλά τραγικά κακό user interface. Πολλοί μου είπαν θα το συνηθίσω αλλά γράφω αυτό το review μετά από έναν μήνα καθημερινής χρήσης. Το μόνο θετικό που έχει είναι το file sharing μεταξύ iOS συσκευών. Ειλικρινά πιστεύω πως είναι για χίπηδες που πάνε στα σταρμπαξ και προσποιούνται ότι δουλεύουν, γιατί κανονική δουλειά σε 13 ίντσες μου φαίνεται σχεδόν απίθανο.
Θα βγει σε αγγελία για πώληση αν δεν πάει για ανακύκλωση.
