Description

Xenergy is the new generation of gray thermal insulation foam extruded polystyrene that offers up to 26% better (lower) thermal conductivity coefficient compared to conventional products.

Additionally, it features the excellent and tested characteristics of DOW's blue boards, such as:

  • Very low thermal conductivity coefficient (for material thicknesses from 30-50 mm λ = 0.030 W/mK and from 60-80 mm λ=0.031 W/mK)
  • High compressive strength
  • Low water absorption
  • Ease of use
  • Hygienic

Applications:

  • Thermal insulation of flat and green roofs
  • Thermal insulation of sloped roofs
  • Thermal insulation of concrete elements
  • Thermal insulation of masonry
  • External thermal insulation
  • Thermal insulation of basements
  • Thermal insulation of cold chambers

XENERGY SL is designed to provide the maximum possible benefit in inverted and conventional roof thermal insulation as well as green roofs:

  • The peripheral sides with staggered formation ensure good fitting between the boards, preventing the creation of thermal bridges.
  • The rigid boards provide a durable base for supporting the ballast layer.
  • The small dimensions of the board facilitate easy and quick placement on the roof without issues from wind pressure.
