What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users find that the separator effectively limits dust and protects the vacuum cleaner, and they particularly appreciate how easy the bin is to clean. They also mention its capacity, lightweight construction, and practicality. However, connecting it to some table saws can be difficult, and it does not capture all fine dust.

The machine is good; of course, it could have been cheaper considering the materials it’s made from. The downside is the difficulty of connecting it to the benchtop table saws I have from the same company. It took a lot of searching to find a solution (the one recommended by Dewalt was awkward to use and expensive). All’s well that ends well—it works great!

I used it with sanding, puttying... it really holds almost all the dust!!! The results save the vacuum!!! I also added 3 extra meters of hose for easier movement. Lightweight - easy cleaning - all plastic, no metal parts

Very nice tool and fair for 85€. Without a motor, as I knew, but with a comfortable bin, wheels, nice hose, stable base, etc. It doesn't catch 100% of the powder, but it limits it a lot! From dust, sand and above, nothing passes through and emptying it is a breeze. Excellent choice

  • Compatibility: Compatible with suction hoses of most commercial brands
  • Ease of movement: Swivel casters
  • Material: Antistatic and user-friendly
  • Assembly: Easy and quick storage
  • Lifespan: Helps extend the filter's lifespan
  • Flexible hose: 2.1m

Specifications:

  • Capacity: 23lt
  • Container Material: Polymer
  • Airflow: 35 (EU L/S)
  • Vacuum Pressure: 19 (kPA) / 230V
  • Hose Diameter: 48mm

Features & Functions

  • Cyclonic Technology: Centrifugal force separates dust from air, sending waste to the bin and only clean air to the vacuum.

  • Filter Protection: Prevents direct clogging of the vacuum filter (HEPA or standard), reducing cleaning needs and the purchase of replacement bags.

  • Large 23L Capacity: The bin is made of reinforced polypropylene, offering large capacity for continuous work without frequent interruptions for emptying.

  • Universal Compatibility: Designed to work seamlessly with DeWALT vacuums (DXV series), but also compatible with most professional wet/dry vacuums on the market.

  • Portability: Features a sturdy handle and 4 swivel castors for easy movement around the workspace, following the movement of your vacuum.

Specifications

  • Manufacturer: DeWALT
  • Model (PN): DXVCS002
  • Tank Capacity: 23 Liters (6 Gallons)
  • Tank Material: Polypropylene (Heavy-Duty Polypropylene)
  • Separation Efficiency: Up to 99% of dust and debris
  • Flexible Hose Compatibility: Standard 48mm / 64mm (with adapters)
  • Weight: ~4.5 kg
  • Barcode (EAN): 6921183004163

Includes

  • 1 x Cyclonic Separator (Cyclone Head).

  • 1 x 23-liter container.

  • 1 x Flexible connection hose (for the vacuum cleaner).

  • 2 x Adapters for various hose diameters.

  • 4 x Swivel wheels.

  • 1 x User manual.

Tip

For maximum performance of the cyclonic effect, make sure that the separator lid fits airtight on the container. Any air leakage will reduce the centrifugal force and allow dust to pass into your vacuum cleaner. Also, if you are working with very fine dust (e.g. cement), this separator is the only solution to avoid "burning out" your vacuum cleaner in just a few hours of use.
