A nerd must battle powerful spirits and aliens who seek the hidden power of his "family heirloom," so who better to help him than his high school girlfriend and a spiritual grandmother? Momo Ayase and Okarun are on opposite ends of the supernatural spectrum when it comes to what they believe and what they don't. Their quest to prove each other wrong leads them down a path of secret romances and supernatural battles.

Momo tries to deal with a sudden attack from alien clones, but through a temporary truce with her enemy, the alien Serpo, she manages to cope. However, her problems are far from over — it's already past 10 p.m.! To evade the woman with the gaping mouth, Reiko Kashima, who is still chasing them, Momo and Serpo must hide out for a night in a manga cafe. And when Momo finally returns home in the morning, she discovers that her friends have serious injuries and are being taken care of by Mr. Shrimp!
